Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir – the founding Director and Chairman of Taaleem Foundation has a wide experience of project management, public administration, revenue administration and community development. He has been directly responsible for development administration during his field deployment in the district administration. Has been pro-actively involved in philanthropic, pro-poor and humanitarian interventions in Balochistan; whereby he successfully launched and nourished Taaleem Foundation. He led a team of inspired individual who has made the organization the single most significant social change agent in the tribal Balochistan; and an NGO with largest number of female employees in Pakistan.
Dr. Tariq Habib Cheema is the founder of the World Congress of Muslim Philanthropists and the Convenor of the Global Donors Forums. Dr Cheema received his MD from the University of Istanbul in 1992 and did an advanced study in Philanthropy at Loyola University Chicago. He co-founded Doctors Worldwide (DWW), an international medical relief organization, and Diversity Forum, a project funded by Rockefeller Foundation to encourage dialogue and understanding about critical social divides. Dr Cheema is the recipient of the Entrepreneurship Recognition Award from the Kellogg School of Management and the 2004 Community Service Award from Asian American Coalition of Chicago. He worked as Executive Director of APPNA in the USA and later moved to Islamabad as Country Head of ARC (Alight-Pakistan).
He is the founding Chairman at Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education (PAGE), and leads Pakistan larges programs of enrolling 1 million out of children in collaboration with national and international partners.
Mr. Muhammad Saleem Ahmed Ranjha , joined the CSS and has served in Pakistan Customs, Pakistan Inland Revenue Service, Ministry of Commerce, Trade Development Authority, and NAVTTC. He has been a part of Pakistan’s trade negotiation teams with more than 30 countries during 2003-2006 and was nominated as one of the 100 business leaders and change-makers of Pakistan by Manager Today at the CEO Summit Asia 2013 and 2014. Mr. Ranjha has served in an advisory position on boards of multiple organizations. He has taught at over 25 universities and training institutions. He organized several international conferences and workshops and represented Pakistan on multiple occasions at various international events on topics including microfinance, agriculture, trade facilitation and economy. He worked as the Federal Secretary Benazir Income Support Program in Pakistan. He is a proponent of Innovative and application of Technology-based solutions for e-Learning, e-Agriculture and e-Health for the people residing in rural areas and is spearheading rural development’s “Wan Miana Model” which includes interest-free microfinance, education, and healthcare.
